and landed in the fence. It knocked all the air out of me and took a while to get back on the bike. By that time, the race was over for me. I was su- per disappointed and really banged up from that crash, but I knew I had to stay positive for the second moto. In the second race, I got up to fifth and was there for most of the race. Thankfully, I've got a bit of time to recover from the crash now before the next round, but I'm really looking forward to Imola." Prado heads Olsen by 124 points with four rounds to go. "Lommel is a very tough race, and for sure you need to come here mentally ready—physically as well—but also relaxed and with the knowledge you are going to suf- fer," Prado said. "I knew the start was going to be key, and I made two good ones and had good flow through both motos. I had a big lead and was going through the backmarkers when I had a small crash, but it was nothing major. I think the bumps were smoother today, but it was still very rough. Another perfect weekend." The Belgian fans had their hopes resting on the shoul- ders of fellow countryman Jago Geerts (Yamaha), and he looked good for a podium go- ing into moto two after finish- ing second in moto one. He was running near the front in moto two when his bike quit. Dutchman Calvin Vlaanderen (Honda) ended up finishing sec- ond in the moto and took second overall with 7-2 results. Third overall went to Brit Ben Watson (Yamaha), followed by Tom Vialle (KTM) and Adam Sterry (Kaw). CN MXGP 1. Tim Gajser (Hon) 2-2 2. Romain Febvre (Yam) 1-4 3. Glenn Coldenhoff (KTM) 3-3 4. McClure was dominant in the Battle of the Twins Modi- fied class on his Harley-Davidson XR1000. In 1984, he won five of the 10 rounds to win that year's title. In '85, he was even more dominant, winning seven rounds of the 10-race championship. Harley-Davidson sponsored McClure during his championship-winning seasons. The Motor Company supplied him with the XR1000s he raced. McClure was the former owner of Cycle Specialties in Athens, Georgia, and continued working at the shop for years. When asked the secret of his success in BOTT racing, McClure once told a reporter: "I just try to do my homework. Some people are gifted, but I have to do a lot of work."
