Savatgy ended up sixth. In moto two, Savatgy grabbed another holeshot, and this time Tomac started around 15th. Mus- quin went by Savatgy for the lead right away, and Roczen closely followed him into second. Tomac found his way into fourth place on lap six, going by his teammate Sa- vatgy, and at that point, he trailed Musquin, Roczen and Anderson. He made quick work of Anderson (which hasn't usually been the case in the 2019 outdoor series), and then chased down Roczen, and then Musquin, before tak- ing off with the lead with five laps still left to go in the 16-lap moto. "It's good to be here, I'm really fond of this track and this area," said Mosiman, who's from Northern California. "And I think this track suits my style—I'm really able to get into a flow. "I couldn't get around for third place, I think, and I got frustrated and lost posi ons, and I only got fi h place. That was not accept- able. But I came back the second moto with a be er start, be er riding, and a be er feeling with the bike as well, thanks to the WP [suspension] guys." "Today was definitely an improvement, but I'm still trying to catch up on my fitness," Wilson said. "The second moto, I had a really good start, and those guys passed me, but to be hon- est, I was really struggling with cramp- ing in my legs.
