Fly Racing 2020
Apparel Launch
T
he Fly Racing brand has come a long
way in recent years. The Boise, Idaho,
company started in the late 90s as a
value-priced line and slowly expanded and
began to work with pro riders in the early
2000s. Over the past 5-6 years, the line
has evolved to include high-performance
apparel that rivals other top brands, and
earlier this year, it introduced their high-
end Formula helmet, which features tech-
nology that has placed them among the
top helmet brands, as well. To show-
case the new products for 2020, Fly
invited members of the media to Idaho
for its third annual Fly Summer Camp
for a couple of days of riding and activi-
ties. Fly athletes Andrew Short, Weston
Peick and Damon Bradshaw joined in
on the fun.
The line itself is not significantly
changed for 2020. The Formula helmet
gets an additional graphic line called the
Vector that comes in four colorways.
We're impressed with the Evolution DST
(Durable Stretch Technology) pants,
which feature DST that is flexible but
more durable than the materials used
in most pants that incorporate a stretch
material. The matching jersey and gloves
were also impressive.
For our trail riding day, we tested the
Kinetic Mesh kit, which is part of the
2019.5 line, and it was excellent for the
warm-weather conditions.

plete Fly apparel line by clicking here.
