maha's Brandon Hartranft, and others.
Cooper grabbed the holeshot at the
start of moto two, while Martin went off
the track on the outside of the first turn.
Unable to re-enter right away, Martin
got back on the track in the fourth turn,
which he was later penalized for.
Cianciarulo went by Cooper immedi-
ately and pulled away to take the win.
Red Bull KTM's Shane McElrath and Fer-
randis, whose YZ250F was smoking over
the last few laps of the race. Lawrence's
teammate RJ Hampshire finished sixth,
and seventh went to Cooper. Everybody
else was a lap down at the finish.
Moto one saw a lot of casualties, with
Geico Honda's Christian Craig and Chase
Sexton both suffering mechanical failures
that resulted in DNFs. Similar fates befell
Star Racing Yamaha's Mitch Oldenburg,
Alex Martin put
the JGRMX/
Yoshimura/
Suzuki on the
podium in
second place.
