IN THE WIND P48 Bruce Anstey Returns To Competition D ouble cancer survivor Bruce Anstey will return to racing competition at the Isle of Man during next month's Classic TT event. The popular New Zealander hasn't raced since the 2017 event with the subsequent two years seeing him absent due to cancer that consisted of multiple tumors in his lungs, a tumor on his spine and a blood clot on the lung, but with that now behind him, he'll make a return with his regular Milenco by Padgetts Mo- torcycles team riding a RS250 Honda in the four-lap Dunlop Lightweight Classic TT Race. Anstey has won no less than 13 races at the Isle of Man TT, but he's also been one of the most successful riders at the Classic TT since it was first intro- duced in 2013. His six podiums—which have come in the Senior, Lightweight and Superbike classes—is the joint highest total, a fig- ure he shares with Ian Lougher and Lee Johnston. Included in those six podiums are three wins with his first vic- tory coming in the 2014 Su- perbike Classic TT Race riding Padgetts 500cc YZR Yamaha. Three years later he set the cur- rent lap record in the class with a speed of 127.496 mph, finishing second to Dean Harrison. That year also saw him claim his first win in the Lightweight Classic TT class. CN Double cancer survivor Bruce Anstey is set to go racing again. Mosiman, Wilson Re-Sign With Rockstar Energy Husqvarna M ichael Mosiman and Dean Wilson have officially extended their relationships with the Bobby Hewitt-run Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Team. Mosiman, who turned pro in 2017, will remain with the team through 2021. Wilson's deal sees him continuing on with the squad through 2020. "I'm excited about having Michael Mosiman on the team for another two years!" said Hewitt via Instagram. "I've known Mosiman and his family for many years. I can remember Michael coming to the race rig when he was just tall enough to see over the skirts, asking if he could come in and see inside the race rig. Now, years later, he has his own section of the race rig to hang out!" Wilson said via Instagram: "So stoked to an- nounce that I will be staying with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna racing team for the 2020 season. Thank you everyone involved. I am very happy and grateful for another great year with these guys." CN Michael Mosiman signed a two-year extension with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Team.
