They will again be the presenting sponsor for the Women's class and, new for 2019, it will be the presenting spon- sor for the Friday afternoon Amateur Prologue. The Women will be com- peting for an AMA Grand Championship number-one plate and a $2000 purse, with $1000 going to the winner. The top three finishers will also earn the opportunity to compete in Sunday's pro class. The Friday afternoon AOMC Amateur Prologue will provide riders the opportunity to earn their Saturday starting positions. The course will be designed to produce a lap time in the 3-5 minute range and be challenging enough to allow the best riders to earn the best starting positions. The Amateur Prologue will be for both the AMA Grand Championship pre-qualified riders (to set their starting position for Saturday race two) and riders entered in the TKO amateur class to determine their starting positions for Saturday's race one. Any riders that do not participate in the prologue will be lined up after those that participate in the prologue based on their sign-up order. "We are happy to expand our involvement with the TKO," said Jamin Jones, the AOMC CEO. "The popularity of Extreme Enduro events has grown rapidly over the past few years, and the TKO has proven to be a great event for both riders and spectators."
