IN THE WIND P42 Sold Out: MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro, Superveloce 800 Serie Oro M V Agusta has sold out their Bru- tale 1000 Serie Oro and Super- veloce 800 Serie Oro motorcycles "only days after launching." Limited to 300 units apiece, the $31,401 retro-themed Superveloce 800 Serie Oro and the $48,200 Brutale 1000 Serie Oro stunned the motorcycle industry when they were jointly released at EICMA in 2018, with the 208-horsepower Brutale named "Most Beautiful Bike of EICMA." "We are delighted with the success of these two launches. It proves that we are on the right path to continue in MV Agusta's glorious tradition of constant innovation, breathtaking performance, and superb design. Six hundred passionate riders from all over the world have shown their unfaltering appreciation for our iconic brand and our unique motorcycles. We shall do everything in our power to make them proud of owning an exclusive piece of true motorcycle art." CN Well, that didn't take long! The Serie Oro versions of the Brutale 1000 (left) and the Superveloce 800 are now all gone. ISDT/E Reunion F ormer ISDE riders are invited to the 2019 ISDE/ISDT Re- union in Woodland Park, Colo- rado, August 23-25, 2019!! According to organizer Erik Nijkamp, all activity will revolve around the evening on Saturday, August 24, at the Cultural Center in Woodland Park. The primary purpose, Nijkamp says, is to (re) connect with fellow ISDE/T riders from 6–10 p.m. during dinner. "On Friday the 23rd we will start the weekend with a drink (and meal) at the Ute Inn (bar and restaurant) in downtown Wood- land Park from 5 p.m. until?" says Nijkamp. "For the ISDE/T vets that want to do more than talk, eat and drink, we invite you to ride with your friends on the nice trails near the town of Woodland Park, site of a few national enduros in the '80s and at the foot of Ameri- can's mountain Pikes Peak. It doesn't matter if you're planning on riding your enduro, dual sport or adventure bike (even ATV or side by side), we have the terrain. This can be done on Saturday and Sunday." The event will be endorsed by Jack Penton, (who will be pres- ent) and promoted by Erik Ni- jkamp from Off-Road Champions. "We are trying to reach as many of the 900 U.S. ISDE/T vets, so please contact your fellow ISDE/T friends and email me at offroad- champions@gmail.com to be put on the email list. "We are almost certain that, be- sides Jack Penton, Fritz Kadlec, Fred Hoess, Danny Young, Mark Hynes and AJ Bila will attend." For more information, again, contact Erik at offroadchampi- ons@gmail.com, or call 719-287- 2660. CN Invitations are out and available for the 2019 ISDE/ISDT Reunion in Colorado.
