"Wilson was out there and I just
kept telling myself to be patient,"
Hahn added. "It was a long, long
race and he started making mistakes. I caught him and just wanted to get around him as quickly as
possible because I knew he'd ride
defensively, as he should because
we're in a really big points battle."
Wilson's problems, however,
didn't end there. A few laps after getting passed by Hahn, MyPlash/Star Racing Yamaha's Jeremy Martin, who was on the gas,
came up on him and eventually
passed the seemingly flustered
Wilson, as well, overtaking third.
Like with Hahn, Wilson did put
up a fight, but the rookie, Martin,
was stronger on this night, making the pass stick and finishing
out the race with third and on the
podium for the first time of his career.
Martin has been riding strong
ever since failing to make the cut
at the first round in Dallas.
Meanwhile, Wilson settled for
a disappointing fourth ahead of
Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki's
Blake Wharton.
