took the long-lap detour on lap 21,
still able to rejoin in third.
Up front, Dalla Porta was ahead
again, and he held off Arbolino
all the way to the last fast corners
leading to the chicane, when the
youngster pushed past to lead over
the line by a minuscule 0.045 of a
second.
Kornfeil managed to hold of a
brawling pack, with third to 14th
over the line in just over two sec-
onds.
What a thriller.
Canet's 12th was enough to re-
tain a shrinking points lead on 107,
from the threatening Dalla Porta
(100); then Antonelli 83, Arbolino
76 and Vietti 68. CN
First Jaume Masia (Bester KTM),
up from 17th to the front group,
coasted to a disconsolate stop;
while Albert Arenas (Sama KTM),
up from 18th, crashed out.
Next time around, a major upset,
as Toba, Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58
Honda), Raul Fernandez (EG Hon-
da) and Celestino Vietti (SKY VR46
KTM) crashed out together in a
slow-corner heap at the Strubben
hairpin. Shortly afterwards, Binder
also crashed out, all alone.
By now Dalla Porta had been in
front from laps 13 to 17; but Korn-
feil had been looking increasingly
strong, and took over next time
around. Knowing of his penalty,
he forged away impressively, then
Tony Arbolino (14) held off Dalla Porta
for his second win in a row.
