When the 25-lap AFT Twins main event rocketed into turn one,
Mees went straight to the top of turns one and two, blasting the fans
lining the fence. AFT Twins's point's leader Briar Bauman (Indian
Motorcycle/Progressive Insurance, Indian FTR750), Jake Johnson

WHAT A DRAG
Many felt the pea-gravel half-mile
was in the best shape it's been
in many years. Mees always has
former GNC competitor and Ca-
nadian National Champion Steve
Beattie come in and help with track
prep. This year they had six pickup
trucks with drags to groom the track
between each race, along with
two water trucks. Jared even had
advertising on the drags, another
unique touch.
QUALIFYING
Timed qualifying saw Chad Cose
top the charts in both the AFT
Singles and AFT Production Twins
classes. AFT Twins Rookie Brandon
Price only rode the first qualifying
session, but was able to set fast
time of the day. His lap of 25.475
was almost half a second faster
than Jeffrey Carver's time.
PRODUCTION TWINS
For the first time, AFT Production
Twins points leader Cory Texter
(G&G Racing/Holeshot Powers-
ports, Yamaha MT-07) found himself
