VOLUME 56 ISSUE 26 JULY 2, 2019 P77
Despite hard-fought battles,
there was the unusual occur-
rence of repeat winners in both
the AFT Twins and AFT Singles
mains with Jared Mees (Indian
Motorcycle/Progressive Insur-
ance, Indian FTR750) and Shay-
na Texter (Red Bull KTM Factory
Racing/Roof Systems, KTM 450
SX-F) winning. The whole AFT
Twins podium was a repeat as
Jeffrey Carver (Roof-Systems
of Dallas TX/Indian of Metro
Milwaukee, Indian FTR750) and
Henry Wiles (Bandit Industries/
DPC Racing, Indian FTR750)
were second and third.
Dan Bromley (Red Bull KTM
Factory Racing/Roof Systems,
KTM 450 SX-F) moved up one
spot from his 2018 finish while
Chad Cose (Parkinson Brothers
Racing/Ritchie Reynolds, Honda
CRF450R), who was riding in
the AFT Twins class last year,
finished third. Cose had earlier in
the evening captured his first win
in the new AFT Production Twins
main on his Parkinson Brothers
Racing/Ritchie Reynolds-backed
Kawasaki Ninja 650.

T
raditionally the Lima Half
Mile kicks off the summer
season with classic cush-
ion action, and the 2019 version
certainly did not disappoint the
large crowd gathered at the Al-
len County Fairgrounds. Jared
and Nichole Mees promoted
the event for the fourth year and
each time it seems to improve.
"It was such an awesome race,"
said Mees. "I want to thank my
whole event crew and my whole
race crew for Lima Half Mile. It
was just freaking amazing. There
is just so much work that goes
into promoting one of these."
