lessons to beginners and make them feel
comfortable on the bike and learn safety
precautions in order to advance to a higher
level. The patience of the staff allowed for all
camp participants to feel at ease, and it gave
them the chance to learn without being over-
whelmed. Instructors based their involve-
ment off of riders' reactions and concerns.
From riding on the back with young children,
to running beside riders until they catch their
balance, there was a spot for all skill levels
to advance.
The camp encouraged women to advance
their skills, for female representation is lack-
ing in motocross and supercoss, so having
Learning to ride can be a little scary
but not at Toyota Camp M2M.
