Webb hung on for fourth, not far behind Anderson. Then there was a gap back to Anderson's teammate Zach Osborne in fifth, followed by Monster Energy Yamaha's Justin Barcia, and Monster Energy Kawasaki's two- time defending series champion Eli Tomac. was in a hurry. Roczen forced his way by Webb after a couple of laps to take the lead, but it was Musquin on the move, go- ing by Webb not long after that, then setting out after Roczen, passing the German racer before halfway to take the lead and run away with the moto win. Heptaminol is a cardiac stimulant. Craig said he became ob- sessed after the email notification of his test-failure looking for the culprit, and he (probably correctly) believes it was in a contaminated supplement. He says he's allowed to keep racing while it's sorted out because it's es- sentially a second-tier adverse finding (this is news to many that there are tiers, as it used to be that all failures were treated the exact same way). He has been struggling as of late and blames at least part of that struggle on this failed test weighing him down, mentally. He DNF'd moto one at WW Ranch and didn't start moto two. Where'd he go? Back to Australia to defend his 250cc MX title there, on a Husqvarna. He went 1-1-5 on the day for second overall after going over the bars at the start of the third and final moto. Shane McElrath returned to action at WW Ranch after sitting out High Point with a concussion. He went 11-13 for 13th overall, which isn't a terrible result, but finishing just in front of him on the day was TLD's amateur prospect Pierce Brown, who went Briefly... Zach Osborne put in two solid rides to get on the 450MX podium.
