M
ost racers have high hopes and expec-
tations at round one of any champion-
ship, and it usually takes a few rounds
for the cream to rise to the top completely. But
it's pretty safe to say that it has done just that in
both classes four rounds into the 2019 Lucas Oil
AMA Pro Motocross championships.
That's not to say nobody else will win motos or
overalls, but barring injury or other unforeseen
circumstances, the 450MX National Champion-
ship is likely going to be between two different
two-time series champions—Honda's Ken Roc-
zen and Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac.
They were 1-2 at High Point yet again and head
to round five tied atop the championship points
standings, while the rest of the field is over one
full moto behind in points already.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Adam
Cianciarulo, who has now won four overalls in a
row and holds a 26-point lead over his closest
title rival.
But there are still 16 motos left to run.

went down, handing second back to Webb, who
soon had his hands full with top qualifier Jason
Anderson (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna).
"That crash I had, I just was a little bit off-bal-
ance and got kind of lazy with my lean and just
pushed my front end," Tomac said. "That's the
way this track is; the dirt's really heavy, so you
just have to really be right. With how long the ruts
are, you've got to be on your game. I just got off-
balance and made that tip over. Blake was riding
really good at the start of the moto, so I was try-
