SoCal Vintage
MX Classic

intage motorcycles and their vin-
tage owners once again came out
to Glen Helen Raceway for a day of
racing at Scott Burnworth's SoCal Vin-
tage MX Classic. Now in its 10th year,
the notable motocross event drew
hundreds of entries from decades-old
machinery ago all the way to modern
entries, with everything from 100cc
flyweights to ground-rumbling 500cc
two-strokes taking to the vet-friendly
main track at Glen Helen for a full day
of classic motocross racing.

CZ and Yamaha 125cc two-
strokes on his way to multiple
trophies. Scott Burnworth was,
of course, once
again a winner,
this time taking
top honors in the
Revolution 125cc
Expert class.
Featured
races included
the SoCal CZ Challenge (for
CZ's only), the Meister Cup
(for Maicos only) and the new
Trophee Des 2-Stroke Team
Race. The 100cc Works Re-
venge class continues to be a
signature event of Burnworth's
Vintage Classic, and fans were
treated to an exciting battle with
riders like Shaun Kalos, Loren
Diamond and LaPaglia battling
for wins. Kalos picked up the
Pro win with LaPaglia collect-
ing another trophy in the expert
division.
