VOLUME 56 ISSUE 23 JUNE 11, 2019 P29 Same Bikes, New Colors From Yamaha Y amaha's 2020 cruiser and touring lineup got a fresh update of—new colors. The Star Venture tourer is Yamaha's premium cross-country touring machine and has been on the market for the previous two years. For 2020, the Venture will get rid of the Raspberry Metallic color in favor of the Star Eluder's traditional Impact Blue. All other features remain the same in the 1854cc air- cooled OHV V-twin and infotainment systems and start at $24,999 for the base model and $26,999 for the Transcontinental Option Package, with models arriving in November. On the sport side of things, the Yamaha YZF-R3—Yamaha's Junior Cup weapon, will get the Monster Energy livery treatment in much the same fashion as Yamaha's Mo- toGP machines of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales. Mechanically, the Monster Energy R3 remains exactly the same as the one you can currently by in the 321cc parallel-twin four-stroke and will retail for $5599 with orders available in July. CN New blue for the Star Venture. The littlest sport bike in Yamaha's lineup, YZF-R3, gets sweet Monster Energy livery for 2020.
