The Singles main was a thriller.
"It turned out to be
a good race," said
Texter. "Earlier on to-
day, I was struggling
so bad, and we went
back to a setup I was
familiar with. I just tried to trust my
instincts more and not over think
things."
Carlile, benefited by the two
rainouts, has quickly recovered
from his knee surgery resulting
from his Arizona TT crash. "The
therapy has been hell, but we've
really worked hard to make it
back," said Carlile. "The whole
team has really been working
hard."
Ben Lowe (Roof Systems/
Bruce Lowe Excavating, Kawa-
saki Ninja 650) finished a solid
third after being pressured by
James Rispoli (Black Hills Harley-
Davidson/Pro-Beam by Custom
Dynamics, Harley-Davidson
XG750R) until Rispoli's race
right behind. Max Whale, Tanner
Dean, Dan Bromley and Morgen
Mischler were all in the same
pack and rounded out the top 10.
AFT Production Twins
The brand new American Flat
Track Production Twins class has
had three races, but only one
winner. Cory Texter (G&G Racing/
Holeshot Powersports, Yamaha
MT-07) has won all three, but for
the first time, he did not lead all
the laps. Kolby Carlile (Estenson
Racing/Monster Energy, Yamaha
MT-07) was able to snatch three of
the 15 laps, but Texter's mile track
experience came into play the last
few laps, as he set up the race
perfectly.

Ryan Varnes (Varnes Racing/
RoyBuilt/Don's Kawasaki, Kawa-
saki Ninja 650) worked his way
up from a second-row start to
finish fourth just edging out Kevin
Stollings (Roof Systems/Motion
Pro, Kawasaki Ninja 650).
Tristan Avery just beat Kayl
Kolkman for sixth. CN
