For Beaubier, he was happy to get another po-
dium but knew it was a missed opportunity given
the warfare games between the two Yoshimura
Suzukis.
"I'm happy to be on the podium," Beaubier
said. "It's not a win. It is a little bit of a bummer just
because I love this track and my bike works good
here. I feel like this is a really good track for me,
but we've always got tomorrow."
Gerloff repeated his podium trick from the last
round at VIR in third, making it two Yamahas on
the podium, although he admitted to losing track
of the number of laps remaining.

It didn't work. Elias protected his line and ran it
out to the white marker leaving Herrin no option
but to back off as he slid to the edge of the track.
It was very nearly contact between the team-
mates, and Herrin came off the worst of it, falling
to fourth at the flag behind Beaubier and Gerloff.
On the slow-down lap, Herrin made his feelings
felt to the senior member in the Yoshimura team,
remonstrating to Elias as they rode back to the
pits. But for Elias, he also made his feeling clear
that he did nothing wrong.
"We finished the race, and he was super mad
at me," Elias said of Herrin. "You can under-
stand if someone is mad with a good reason, but
the reason was we were doing the same thing,
and we were playing the same game. If you are
frustrated because I pass you and you ran wide, I
