MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Will Go Into
Production
T
he delectable MV Agusta Su-
perveloce 800 that wowed
everyone at the 2018 EICMA
Show in Milan will go into pro-
duction for the 2020 model year,
MV Agusta confirms.
The Superveloce draws on
MV Agusta's rich racing heritage
from the 1960s and early 70s,
where it ruled the GP world with
an iron fist until the two-stroke
machines eventually took control
of the racing landscape.
Styling is thus a modern twist
of the beautiful race bikes that
legends like Giacomo Agostini
and Phil Read rode to world
championships. The machine
utilizes the F3 800 as its base,
with the Superveloce using the
same motor, chassis and brakes.
However, they've mapped in
a much fatter midrange, and
SC Project has created a 3-1-3
exhaust, just like those of Read
and Ago. LED lights are flanked
by carbon-fiber bodywork and a
new TFT dash. CN

look at the riders, bikes and races
held at the second round of the

worth a look if you've got an hour to
spare. The fourth round of the 2019
