I
t's not always easy to pre-
dict how a series is going to
go by what happens at the
opening round, but there are a
couple things we can take away
from the 2019 Hangtown MX
National: First, often Eli Tomac
(Monster Energy Kawasaki)
is head and shoulders better
than everyone at Hangtown.
He gets along with that track.
He won at Hangtown in his
AMA Pro Racing debut, and he
had won the race three of the
last four years in the 450MX
class, but he wasn't quite as
"on" this year (although he did
win a moto in the mud). And
second, Ken Roczen (Honda
