Behind him, Watson and Julien Gauthier battled it out for third, with French rider Gauthier getting edged out by only one second in the end. Fellow Frenchman Jeremy Tarroux rounded out the top-five. For Watson, the podium finish was a decisive victory, consider- ing the classic enduro format isn't his specialty. "This is the first classic enduro I've raced since this event 12 months ago, so I came into it a little unsure what to expect, but also confi- dent that it would suit me. Things were really close coming into the final test, just half a second between third and fourth overall. Thankfully I managed to jump up one position to third, which was a great way to end the race." CN Overall 1. Josep Garcia (KTM) 2. Jamie McCanney (Yam) 3. Nathan Watson (KTM) 4. Stewart has not raced since July 2016, and there was specu- lation for the first couple of years since then that he would be back on the track, but that started to wane as time went on, and he dropped completely off the radar for nearly two years. Stewart came back into the public eye when he released two videos over the past four weeks where he talked about his career and hinted at retirement, and now he has made it official. Stewart retires as one of the most successful supercross/motocross riders of all time. He has 98 total AMA wins, placing him second behind Ricky Carmichael. Stewart has 50 premier class AMA Supercross wins, second to Jeremy Mc- Grath on the current all-time win list. Stewart won 28 125/250 AMA Motocross Nationals and had 20 wins in 250/450 AMA Motocross. Stewart won two AMA Supercross Championships, one 450/250cc (premier-class) outdoor motocross championship, and two 125cc outdoor champion- ships. CN Yamaha's Jamie McCanney is no stranger to the classic enduro format. He ended up second overall.
