VOL. 56 ISSUE 19 MAY 14, 2019 P65 A fter completely revamping nearly its entire fleet of off- road models last year (2019), Honda has already announced its 2020 line of motocross, trail and dual sport models and, as you might ex- pect, changes are a few and far be- tween. However, that doesn't mean Honda took the whole year off. Last year, the CRF250R was the one bike that didn't get the full works treat- ment, but that's changed for 2020. The 2020 CRF250R motocross platform, including the CRF250RX off-roader, got special attention this time. Both bikes feature an all-new frame and swingarm, just like the 450s got last year. The 250s also took on numerous engines changes. All of the CR-Rs feature a lower- mounted (by 28mm) battery box to improve CG, and new brake-pad material. Also, the rear brake disc cover has been removed on all R/RX models to improve airflow and cooling. The 2020 Honda CRF250R will be available in July. MSRP is $7999. CN
