T
he American Flat Track
series returned to action
on the banked clay oval
of the Perris Auto Speedway at
the Southern California Fair-
grounds. Four classes were
wedged into the night's sched-
ule making for a busy day and
night of racing. The second
race of the new AFT Produc-
tion Twins class and a Roland
Sands Super Hooligan race
were added to the traditional
AFT Twins and AFT Singles
program.
Brandon Robinson (Kennedy
Racing/Armbruster Racing/
Rod Lake, Indian FTR750)
became the first rider to post
multiple victories in the 2019
American Flat Track Twins
class, after weathering a restart
of the main event.
Ryan Wells (Estenson Rac-
ing/Monster Energy/Yamaha
Racing, Yamaha YZ450F) went
over a year without a win but
was able to break the drought
with a wire-to-wire victory in the
AFT Singles main event.
In the AFT Production main
event, Cory Texter (G&G Rac-
ing/Holeshot Powersports,
Twins winner Brandon
Robinson (44) leads Sammy
Halbert (69) and Bronson
Bauman (37) in the main event.
