Not an easy one, but a different one.
But this year it turned out that there were so
many different brands of motorcycles and riders who were competitive in the Dakar���
Since we are in South America, we are always
starting the race in Argentina. Argentina is a place
which is quite fast and quite easy to ride around
Buenos Aires, not in the mountains. When you start
the rally like Dakar for 15 days at around 8000-9000
kilometers, it���s good when the start is easy. But this
year we started in Peru, in Lima, a country that is
covered by sand and by mountains. There are a lot
of valleys everywhere and this made the race really
complicated from day one. Sand is always harder to
ride than ground��� and fast and straight.
