2019 SUZUKI BOULEVARD
FIRST REVIEW
P96
No, Mr. Bond, I Expect You to Ride
SUZUKI
B.O.S.S. sounds like the
acronym for an organization
run by a Bond villain, but in the
motorcycle world it's really short
for "Blacked Out Special Suzuki."
Both Suzuki's Boulevard M109R
and Boulevard C90 muscle
cruisers come in the B.O.S.S.
configuration, which is darker,
beefier, and more aggressive
than the company's other steeds
in its cruiser stable. Now that we
think about that, maybe B.O.S.S.
has more in common with
Bond villains than we originally
thought...
B.O.S.S. bikes aren't entirely
murdered out, though. While they
have blacked-out parts ranging
from the exhaust system to the
front forks, you do have some
color options. For example,
if you're looking into a 2019
Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. for
your next ride, you have a few new
two-tone color options to chose
from: Glass Sparkle Black/Candy
Daring Red scheme with black
wheels, or Pearl Glacier White/
Pearl Vigor Blue treatment with
metallic blue wheels, matching
the bike's graphics.
Suzuki isn't breaking ground
with any radically new models
this year but the other return
players in its cruiser line are
back, offering a wide range of
options. The single-cylinder
642cc Boulevard S40 as well as
its bigger V-twin C50, C90, M50,
and M90 cousins are all back for
2019. Each has its own distinct
style cues that set it apart it from
the others, and the C50 and
C90 also come in T versions for
touring.
