Plus, Elias now has a handy 13-point championship lead after taking a first in race one and second to new teammate Herrin in race two. Current champion Cameron Beaubier (Mon- ster Energy Yamaha) almost broke his COTA bad luck, missing out on the first race win by just 0.089 of a second in an intense final lap that saw the lead change three times.
