win apiece in MotoAmerica. Plus, Elias now has
a handy 13-point championship lead after taking
a first in race one and second to new teammate

Current champion Cameron Beaubier (Mon-
ster Energy Yamaha) almost broke his COTA bad
luck, missing out on the first race win by just
0.089 of a second in an intense final lap that
saw the lead change three times. He couldn't
keep the last-lap pace in race two, however,

he MotoAmerica Superbike Championship
made its customary stop in the Lone Star
state on the undercard to the 2019 Red
Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, with two bril-
liant races held at Circuit of The Americas.
It was an excellent weekend day for the
Suzuki factory with Alex Rins taking his first-ever
MotoGP race win, and Team Yoshimura Suzuki's
