Rounding out the top 10 in race one
at COTA was JD Beach (Estensen

Suzuki), Mathew Scholtz (Westby
Yamaha), David Anthony (ADR Fly Ka-
wasaki), Cameron Petersen (Omega
Moto Yamaha) and Kyle Wyman
(KWR Ducati).
Race two on Sunday was sweet
redemption was Herrin, who diced
wheel to wheel with teammate Elias
for the entirety of the 15-lap encoun-
ter, pulling away in the final two laps
to take an emphatic win by 0.958
seconds—his first riding for Yoshimu-
ra Suzuki.
Herrin also had the misfortune of
having his front fender explode at top
speed down the back straight with
three laps to go, but "I didn't even
notice it. I was only aware of it when
the guys told me back in the pits.

Toni and Josh and whoever else, they
were kind of dicing and catching each
other, slowing each other up and gave
