W
hen Eli Tomac is comfort-
able, he can be incredibly
fast in any conditions. After
the resignation of his team's crew
chief a few weeks ago, Tomac has
finally found his comfort, and he's
fast, once again. Tomac carried his
momentum from Nashville last week-
end into his first-ever home super-
cross in Denver (although his Colora-
do home is far enough outside of
Denver that he still had to fly into
the race) and was absolutely domi-
nant. He qualified first, then made
short work of the field in the 450SX
main event to take a seemingly easy
victory in front of a very partisan,
very jubilant Colorado audience.
But points leader Cooper Webb still
managed to finish second to Tomac,
so the Coloradan will need some
help in the final two rounds to pull off
his first 450SX title.
In the 250SX class, after losing a
bunch of points to Dylan Ferrandis at
the last Triple Crown event in Hous-
ton, Adam Cianciarulo put his stamp
of authority on the championship in
