fourth, and then from there, I've
just been busy with my grind at
MTF [Millsaps Training Facility],
working with Colleen Millsaps
[Davi Millsaps' mother] and Bryan
Johnson and my trainer Clint Friesen. We've come a long way,
but I think we still have a long
way to go to get to where I want
to be."
After a successful amateur career, which included several na-
tional titles, Savatgy went pro late
last year, after Loretta Lynn's, and
is starting to turn some heads
with his Supercross finishes, not
to mention his starts. It was a bit
of a surprise to Savatgy, too.
"I'm a little surprised at how I'm
doing, but not too much," says
Savatgy. "I've been putting in
a lot of hard work for years and
years. Supercross is a little different, but even before this year, I
was able to ride Supercross with
Colleen and she really thinks I
have it in me to do really good.
But I'm a little bit surprised at how
well I'm doing, but not a whole lot
because you've got to have confidence, too."
Savatgy's biggest asset in the
Pros so far has been his ability to
get off the line quickly and get to
the front of the pack, which with
all the slippery and one-lined
