the better of a three-rider fight
between himself, Jason Aguilar

maha) and Prince to record his
first podium of the 2019 season.
Prince finished with a pair of fifth
places.

The Stock 1000 category saw a
healthy field of 19 riders qualify
at Road Atlanta, with class debu-
tant and former MotoAmerica

Jacobsen made a solid return
to American racing, carding a
sixth in race one after dropping
back from the battle with Prince
and Escalante to improve to
second in race two.

sport class debut with third in
race one and sixth in race two,
marking him out as one to watch
in the 2019 season.

"I'm definitely excited," Fong
said. "It's good to be on top of
the box, for sure. After yester-
day's misfortune, it's good to be
back up here. PJ rode a great
race. I knew he was going to be
in the group, but I didn't know
that when I hit the false neutral
during the race, and I actually
hit another false neutral in the
last turn, that he was going to
be right there. I thought for sure
Hayden was just going to slam
me right off the track. But it was
good battling with PJ. Our bike
Bobby Fong (50) went 2-1 in Supersport.
