Forkner had a big crash in prac-
tice and couldn't put weight on
his knee for the rest of the night.
He didn't line up in Nashville, but
thanks in part to his winning five
of the first six rounds of the se-
ries, and help from his teammate
Martin Davalos in Nashville, he
still holds a slim three-point lead
in the championship with two
some cleaner dirt up there,
because the stuff here was a
little bit rough. But it's pretty cool
to be at 25 wins, and we'll see
what we can do!"
250SX EAST
In the 250SX East Champion-
ship, there was a massive cham-
pionship shake-up, as Austin
Blake Baggett (4)
finished second
and Dean Wilson
(15) continues to
ride well.
YZ450F up enough that he couldn't
continue. Barcia snagged a Tuff
Block in a rhythm section late in
the main event while running eighth
and also was forced to exit the race
early. Barcia is dealing with a myriad
of nagging injuries, but the team
expects both racers to line back up
again in Denver this coming Saturday
night.
PUT ME IN, COACH
Back in 2017, while racing for the
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team,
Martin Davalos showed great speed
and endurance during the 450SX Na-
tionals, but despite that, he couldn't
find a 450cc ride. He's about to point
