IN THE WIND P44 Attack Performance Estenson Racing Unveils Superbike Livery T he Attack Performance Estenson Racing Yamaha Team revealed what JD Beach's YZF-R1 will look like when the 2019 MotoAmer- ica Superbike Championship gets underway at Road Atlanta in Braseltine, Georgia, April 5-7. The team said that testing has been going well despite some setbacks due to weather. "JD has really been learning every step of the way," Attack Performance owner Richard Stanboli. "He's very attentive with the data, and the feedback has been great. We keep making forward steps. It was a little bit of a wet winter, so it put us back a little bit. But we've overcome that in the past couple of tests, and now we're gearing up to go and do battle." CN JD Beach shows off his new ride for MotoAmerica Superbike. However, their bikes will retain "the distinctive traditional racing colors of Yoshimura Suzuki." Lead rider Elias says he is ready to start racing this weekend at Road Atlanta. "I have been waiting all winter for the season to begin," Elias said. "My off-season preparation was very strong, and testing has been positive for the team. My goal is to win back the championship. Of course, it will be a great challenge with the other strong riders in the series, including my own team- mate. But I'm confident that our team will all work together to put the best motorcycle on the track. My job will be to ride to my potential, and I believe we will see excellent results." Herrin, new to the team this year, said, "I was really happy to find how smoothly the team works together and how Toni and I worked together so well in pre-season testing. Now I'm just anxious to get out there on a race weekend to show what I can do." CN Toni Elias says he's ready to go racing on his new-look Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R1000.
