ocated just north of Atlanta, Georgia, the Di-
xie Speedway hosted the second race of the
American Flat Track season. The high-banked
oval proved to be very challenging, especially for
the AFT Singles class.
It was a day of redemption and recovery, as
defending AFT Twins Champion Jared Mees
(Indian Motorcycle/Progressive Insurance, Indian
FTR750) looked to be on his way to redemption
from his misfortune last week at the Daytona TT.
Mees led the first 21 laps of the 25-lap main
event, but Brandon Robinson ran the champ
down, took the lead on lap 22 and steadily pulled
away. Robinson's last win came in 2016 at Lima,
Ohio. Robinson was aboard the Kennedy Racing
Harley-Davidson XR750 at the time.
After two years with the Harley-Davidson Mo-
tor Company, Robinson has reunited with Jerry
Kennedy and Brent Armbruster, this time with a
stable of Indian FTR750s.
