SUPERCROSS ROUND 11 / MARCH 16, 2019 LUCAS OIL STADIUM / INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA P70 points leader Austin Forkner having now won five out of six rounds of the East series, his only loss coming at the hands of his teammate and Western Regional points leader Adam Cianciarulo in the East/West Shootout in Atlanta a few weeks back. Forkner committed his first major error of 2019 in the sec- ond 250SX heat race when he overcooked it into the first turn and went down, getting run over by a rider in the process. Luckily, he was uninjured and managed to come back from nearly dead last to fifth. position from lap one to the end. Dean Wilson, who had a magnificent heat race by holding off Musquin, Roczen, Tomac and Barcia for the win, ended up a disappointing ninth in the main. Justin Brayton, ninth after the first lap, closed out the race in 10th, one spot ahead of Chad Reed, who celebrated his 37th birthday the night before. 250SX East The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team seems to have gotten its groove back in 2019, with 250SX Eastern Regional Savatgy ended up sixth after his crash, and Zach Osborne was seventh, one position back of last week. Ken Roczen had another disappointing night. For the sec- ond week in a row, he matched his season-worst finish with an eighth, which severely hurt his championship hopes. In Indy, he started off in eighth and stared at the back of Osborne's jersey the whole way, unable to make a pass. SmarTop/Motoconcepts/Bull- frog Spas' Justin Brayton ended up ninth. He too ran in the same MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS Chase Sexton was next-best in the 250s.
