YZ450F). Much like the Twins
race, Janisch led every lap, win-
ning by nearly three seconds.
"To start Daytona with a vic-
tory is amazing," said Janisch.
"Last year, I left here with a
second and that was a great way
to start the season."
Janisch's holeshot was fol-
lowed by 15 near-perfect laps to
win his fourth AFT Singles main
event, the other three coming at
the Peoria TT.
Finishing a strong second was
Dalton Gauthier (D&D Cycles/
FlatTrack.com, KTM 450 SX-F).
