Wiles and Johnson joined Bau- man on the podium. Vanderkooi and Bronson Bauman were the only riders to complete 25 laps. Kayl Kolkman, Rob Pearson, Brandon Robinson, Don Mullen and Jeffrey Carver rounded out the top 10. AFT SINGLES Perhaps it was fitting that the first Roof Systems AFT Singles presented by Russ Brown start card. By lap 17 he was in fifth. With just four laps left, Car- lile's excellent ride came to an end when his Yamaha expired in turn one. Vanderkooi made one last pass on lap 22 when he took fourth from Bronson, and things looked to be settled. Then suddenly with just two laps left, Smith's Kawasaki coasted to a stop while running in sixth place. Briar Bauman had started lap- ping riders at the midpoint of the LOOK WHO'S NOT LEADING For the first time since 2017, Jared Mees is not the AFT Twins point's leader. After dropping out of the main, he finished in 17th position. With 17 races to go, Mees finds himself in the unfamiliar position of pursuer instead of pursued. Last year, Mees scored zero points at one round when he was DQ'd for have illegal tires. As you know, he still won the 2018 title. Briefly... Look who's back! Dalton Gauthier, who was just recently given the okay by the AMA to compete again, took second in the Singles final.
