Russell Bounces Back With
The General Win

ailub Russell came out swing-
ing at the Specialized General
GNCC in Washington, Georgia,
March 17, in an effort to redeem
himself after losing last week's
Wild Boar GNCC in Palatka,
Florida, to Steward Baylor by
nearly two minutes.
The FMF/KTM Factory Racing-
backed Russell battled heads up
with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna
teammates Thad Duvall and Trev-
or Bollinger for most of the two-
hour and 40-minute race, claim-
ing the victory by a 13-second
margin. In doing so, Russell took
over the championship lead in the
GNCC series standings ahead of
last week's winner, Baylor, on the
Tely Energy KTM. Baylor finished
fourth at The General.
