W
ith so many options to browse,
shopping for bikes and custom
parts can be a headache. Buyer's
guides like this one are like
morphine, taking away that pain. What separates
the two is that no one's ever sold their body on the
street to feed a buyer's guide addiction. At least,
that I know of.
Guides work their magic by putting a range
of options in front of you all in one place so
you don't have to scour the internet for them. If
you're looking for a new motorcycle, our Cruiser
Motorcycle Buyer's Guide is a great place to start.
We've laid out information and basic overviews
of shiny new models across the manufacturer
spectrum, whether it's Indian's hotly anticipated
FTR1200 street-legal flat tracker or Harley-David-
son's FXDR114 muscle bike or Honda's Rebel 300,
you'll find a what you need to know to narrow
down your search for the perfect fit for you. Once
you've figured that out, you can move on to
gearing up both you and your scoot-of-choice with
some of those parts and accessories we've shared
in these here pages. Over the last year we've had
the privilege of road testing some of these bikes
ourselves, and we've shared what we've learned
in our test features as well.
But wait, there's more. Seeing as how there
are a bajillion rallies happening throughout the
year, we've narrowed down some of the more
prominent ones into a handy-dandy calendar you
can use to pick and choose where you want to be
this year. If you're a speed freak jonesing for the
drag strip or the flat track over custom bike shows,
we've taken care of you as well with a separate
listing all about going fast on two wheels.
We've done our best to ease the pain of picking
out a bike and the parts that go with it. Now the
only headache you face is paying for it all. We
can't help with that, but once you're on the road to
wherever it leads, we're sure the wind will blow it
away for you. —
