Way back in the early 2000s when production choppers
with fatter and fatter back tires were en vogue, the first Las
Vegas Bikefest took place at Cashman Center. Its main event
was the Artistry in Iron Show but times have changed and
so has this event's location. Now in Downtown Las Vegas
amid the tourists and street carnies of the Fremont Street
Experience, this shindig is as much an excuse to ride to Las
Vegas and gamble as it is a motorcycle rally. CN

Fall riding just means wearing warmer gear. The end of August doesn't
mean the end of riding season. There's still lots to do and see on your
bike and one event that's been a great autumn rally for years is the
Street Vibrations Motorcycle Festival in Reno, Nevada. It's a celebration
of music, metal, and motorcycles where Northern California and Nevada
meet. Poker runs, live entertainment, ride-in shows, stunt and bike
shows await the more than 50,000 biking enthusiasts that ride in every
year. Major event venues are planned in downtown Reno, historic Virgin-
ia City, Battle Born Harley-Davidson in Carson City, and Chester's Reno
