The Black Dragon Breakdown, Smoky Mountain Harley-Da-
vidson's annual custom and vintage bike show, is growing
into a full weekend of events for its seventh incarnation.
Taking place Friday May 3 through Sunday May 5, the event
kicks off with a flat track test and tune at Smoky Mountain
Speedway and then free live music at The Shed. Saturday
features Flat Out Hooligan Races at Smoky Mountain
Speedway and concludes with events at The Shed including
the pro-builder bike show, 100-ft drags, biker games, and
live music. Sunday morning will conclude the event with
the open amateur bike show. All entries and registration are
free.
Additionally, She Rides Moto will host their first Women's
Motorcycle Meet-up event at Smoky Mountain Harley-David-
son simultaneously. Starting on May 2 and extending through
the weekend to Sunday, May 5, the event features guided and
unguided rides, free entry to Flat Out Hooligan Races at Smoky
Mountain Speedway, entry into Smoky Mountain Harley-Da-
vidson's annual Black Dragon Breakdown, and free concerts
hosted throughout the event at The
Shed Smokehouse & Juke Joint.
Discounted lodging is available and
the event will host a Welcome Dinner
and Cinco De Mayo Brunch to start
and end the weekend. The event will
kick-off women's riding month and
is intended to spotlight the growing
trend of female riders increasing in
numbers every year.
