Road Trippin' CYCLE NEWS CRUISER BUYERS GUIDE WHERE TO RIDE & WHAT TO DO THERE For as good as that shiny new cruiser of yours looks in the garage all dolled up in whatever customization you've heaped upon it, you'll probably want to take it out for some actual riding. It's easier for people to marvel at your coolness when you go where they are instead of waiting for them to come to you. If a mob of strangers shows up in your garage, you better grab a machete because it means you have a zombie problem. Normal folks don't do that en masse. Live masses hang out at places like motorcycle rallies. Not only is the rally circuit a good time for partying with like-minded riders, but hopping in the saddle and hitting the road to get to them is at least half the fun. Here's our list of some of the bigger events you can find throughout the rest of 2019. March 8-17 Daytona Bike Week GPS COORDINATES: 29.17955 -81.05615 HTTPS://WWW.OFFICIALBIKEWEEK.COM Daytona Bike Week is the unofficial start to riding season for many of us, especially in the northern states. Nearly a half million eager riders are expected to invade the Florida beach town for 10 days of two-wheeled mayhem covering the full gamut of motorcycling, from the infamous Rat's Hole custom bike show at the boardwalk to the official start of racing season: World Superbike's Daytona 200. If you're into pre-WWII racing machines, you'll also want to check out the Sons of Speed vintage race.
