in moto one. In the second moto, he
beat Young by almost exactly five min-
utes. And in the final moto, which was
a head-to-head race, he beat Young
by four minutes and lapped up to 10th
place a field of the top 25 rounds out of
an initial 150 riders.
"The conditions were less than ideal,
but I won everything I entered and I
guess that's the way you want to do it,"
said Webb after it was all over Sunday.
"I struggled a little bit on Saturday just
because we saved the good tires for
Sunday. Today, I felt good in the condi-
tions. The final race was tricky with all
the lappers, but I hit all the big hits per-
fectly. There was one creek scattered
with people and I came through and
went all the way to the top without put-
ting my foot down once. It was a great
weekend and the bike was unreal."
Young didn't get off to the best of
starts when his chain derailed and
broke his shift shaft, but he ultimately
