Davi Millsaps talks about his
San Diego Supercross win.

avi Millsaps and Ryan Villopoto are
the only two-time winners so far in
this year's Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. But it's not the defending
champ, Villopoto, who is positioned atop
the series point standings, it's Millsaps,
largely in part for having a much more consistent season: five podiums in six starts,
compared to three podiums for "RV."
Millsaps also seems to have a knack for
avoiding the dreaded pileups that we've
seen quite often so this year. Villopoto hasn't
been so lucky.
Both riders agree that the starts are the
key, and a big difference between the two is
that Millsaps is getting them on a more consistent basis.
