sk any top motocross or supercross
racer and they'll tell you that the main
key to getting a good motorcycle setup
is comfort: They want their motorcycle to do
things in a predictable fashion, and in a way
that suits how they want to ride it. It doesn't
take a lot to throw them off, and the differ-
ence between complete comfort and just
being "close" can be night and day. Eli Tomac
(Monster Energy Kawasaki) has struggled
with his setup since he returned to action
after suffering a back injury in the off-season,
and although he won the muddy San Diego
Supercross, he hasn't looked like the same
