Honda star. But Webb didn't settle,
and the resulting win by a record-
setting 0.02 of a second left Webb
with more confidence than ever,
and although he downplayed it
afterward, must have left Roczen
feeling absolutely gutted.
It also gave Webb the points
lead back. Webb now leads Roc-
zen by two points, with Webb's
teammate Marvin Musquin in third
a total of six points behind, and
the bad night for Tomac leaves him
fully 16 points behind the champi-
onship leader.
And in the 250SX East, Monster
Energy Kawasaki's Austin Forkner
is having his way with the field after
two rounds, although his competi-
tion is giving him a lot of help along
the way.

he 450SX main event at
round seven of the 2019
Monster Energy AMA Super-
cross Series in Arlington, Texas,
could've gone a few different ways.
With Red Bull KTM's Cooper Webb
getting a rare (this year) bad start
in the main, Honda HRC's Ken
Roczen riding aggressively to take
the early lead, and Monster Energy
Kawasaki's Eli Tomac unraveling
after a crash while chasing Roczen
early in the main, Webb was left in
a win/win situation. Having recov-
ered for a top-three spot late in the
race, he could've settled for the
podium finish and felt plenty con-
fident in the result, but it would've
resulted in a badly needed boost
of confidence for Roczen (yet to
