CHAMPIONSHIP VOL. 56 ISSUE 6 FEBRUARY 12, 2019 P65 PAST MINNEAPOLIS Cooper Webb still finds himself taking deep breaths and making sure he knows this is real; he's won half of the 450SX supercross races in 2019 and is one point out of the championship lead. "I still have to kind of sit back and realize what's going on," Webb said. "It's hard not to get caught up in it, for sure, but for me, it's awe- some. Racing Yamaha) rode solid all night on his way to third in the main event, his first-ever AMA Supercross podium finish. Cooper had to find a way past Alex Martin, who was making his debut on the JGR/Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing Team, late in the main event for the spot. Martin finished fourth, just in front of Chase Sexton (Geico Honda) who fell about halfway through the main event while pressuring Martin. "You don't want to think about not making mistakes, because then you're going to make them, but just trying to Austin Forkner absolutely dominated the 250SX main.
