"I actually had no clue [I got third place]. I actually had my head down on my bars and I was like, 'Man, I just got another fourth place," Decotis said. "I'm over fourth place. Then Mikey G. It started off well for Hampshire who won his heat race and got a good start in the main, but things quickly went downhill from there. "I won my heat which was cool," said Hampshire. "Got a good start in the main and probably crashed in the worst spot on lap two. I was stuck for almost an entire lap! Really I'm just glad that's over and ready for this break." He is still fifth in the cham- pionship but is now 27 points behind fourth place Ferrandis and closely chased by James Decotis, his teammate Cameron McAdoo, Garrett Marchbanks and Chris Blose.
