COLTON HAAKER'S RARE
EXCEPTION PREMIER

eigning AMA EnduroCross Champion
Colton Haaker recently invited industry,
media and friends to the 100% headquar-
ters in San Diego for the premier of his
new film, "Colton Haaker's Rare Excep-
tion." In his first feature movie, Haaker
illustrated the passion for motorcycles that
has driven him throughout his childhood all
the way to winning world championships,
and at the same time, portrayed the night-
mares that inevitably come with following
your dreams.
Beautiful action shots go from his
current home in Perris, California at the
"Haaker Hacienda," all the way back to
his roots near Hollister, California with a
stunning ridgeline sequence. "Rare Excep-
tion" also includes lots of footage from
the 2017/2018 FIM SuperEnduro World
Championship where Haaker struggled in
quite a few rounds, (coincidentally, Haaker
is currently leading the 2018/2019 FIM
SuperEnduro World Championship).
"All my life motorcycles have really
shaped me and taken me on different
twists and turns but I've been appreciative
of all that," said Haaker. "I really wanted to
portray what motorcycles can do for you
and what they can give to you in the end.
In the beginning I was chasing my dream,
but the truth is your biggest dream can
turn into a nightmare real quick, if you let it.
Those are all mental demons that we deal
with. In the end, I find peace in winning or losing,
that's part of the story line."
"It's awesome riding as well, and epic loca-
tions. I go to five different countries to film, it has
a story about my life but in a relatable way that I
feel I can relate to a family, to a kid growing up,
wanting to ride bikes, or someone in the middle of
their career who maybe is struggling to continue to
pursue their dream."
