ROUND 1 / JANUARY 26-27, 2019
JOHNSON VALLEY OHVA / LUCERNE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
P68
KENDA/SRT AMA HARE & HOUND
With about 10 miles to go, Argu-
bright was clearly out front, Bra-
bec working hard to keep his JCR
Speed Shop/Pro Circuit/Monster
Energy CRF450X (pre-2019 model)
on two wheels.
"I had a rough day; I was kind of
riding all over the place," Brabec
admitted. "I felt squirrelly, but I'm
happy to be on the podium. It's
time to break out the enduro bikes
and go train a little bit [for hare &
hounds]. From Dakar to today, I
didn't ride—I went to the gym one
time and mountain biked one time
and now that I'm done with this hare
and hound, I'm probably going to
go to Cabo or something to relax
(Above) Axel Pearson
survived this get-off
to finish fourth.
(Right) No one got
close to Lane Forbes,
who easily won the
Big Wheel class in
Saturday's Youth
National H&H.
