IN THE WIND P38 YAMAHA'S 2019 AFT CONTINGENCY PROGRAM Y amaha announced its 2019 American Flat Track Contingency Program totaling $440,500—the larg- est contingency announcement for the 2019 season thus far. The per-race contingency payouts are available to riders in all three classes, broken down as follows: Finish AFT Twins AFT Singles AFT Production Twins 1st $10,000 $1500 $1000 2nd $5000 $750 $750 3rd $2500 $500 $500 4th $1500 $200 -- 5th $1000 $150 -- Per-Race $20,000 $3100 $2250 Races 18 18 11 2019 Total $360,000 $55,800 $24,750 Yamaha introduced its hefty contingency plan for eligible riders in the 2019 AFT Championship. To be eligible for contingency payouts, riders must run an eligible 2018 or newer YZ450F in the AFT Singles class or 2015 or newer FZ-07 or MT-07 in AFT Production Twins and AFT Twins classes. In all classes, both the "Yamaha" and "bLU cRU" logos must be placed as directed on both the motorcycle and the rider's leathers. CN KAWASAKI'S 2019 AFT CONTINGENCY PROGRAM K awasaki also announced its 2019 American Flat Track Contin- gency Program totaling $424,850—boasting a 19% increase over its 2018 program. In all classes, Kawasaki Lime Green must be the dominant color on the machine in order to qualify. CN Kawasaki has increased its AFT contingency program for 2019.
